Tippolly Farm Vegetable Planting Guide

Your Guide will Include:
• Buying Guide – Have you ever wondered how many seeds or plants to buy for your needs?
This portion eliminates waste and optimizes your garden for your usage.
• Planting Distance & Ground Preparation– This gives you the typical distance both within the
rows and between the rows. Know how much ground you need to prepare for the number of seeds
and plants that you will be buying.
• Expected Yield – Know the typical yield per 10 feet of row to expect. Keep your own records
and compare in order to tweak your garden for the next year.
• Planting Dates Customized for your area. Use this handy guide to know when to start indoor
seeds, set transplants and seed outdoors, then when to expect to start your harvest. Helps in crop
rotation by knowing when spring crops can be pulled to make room for summer crops.
With your input, your customized guide will arrive via e-mail in PDF format (usually the same day
payment is received), based on both the number of people that you intend to plant for, as well as
the last frost date for your area. Simply give us the number of people and the frost date and we
will do the rest. No frost? Lucky you! You can adjust your Guide to your climate.
The guide is the result of years of experience and hundreds of hours of research, both from books
and on the Internet. It is intended to bring most of this into two color coded sheets. Just print
them out and place them in a 3-ring binder (works great in a document protector).
